Bruce Winer, CCM has 26 years of construction management, general contracting, and real estate development experience. His experience includes a wide range of projects in both the private and public sectors. Mr. Winer has managed pre-construction and construction activities on hospitality, high-rise multi-family, office and medical buildings, retail shopping centers, market rate and senior apartments, laboratory and research facilities, correction facilities, K-12, University and Community College projects, and industrial projects. His experience includes over one billion dollars in construction projects

Mr. Winer has 20 years of San Diego construction experience and has been a San Diego resident since 1973. He is a Certified Construction Manager (CCM) through the Construction Management Association of America. Currently, there are only10 CCMs working in the San Diego area.

Before joining Irving Hughes CM, Mr. Winer worked for 5 years as an executive with Turner Construction and 4 years for Sundt Construction. His primary responsibilities for Turner included pre-construction, contracts, subcontractor negotiations and relations, and all of the business units risk management activities. With Sundt, Mr. Winer headed up a newly formed CM division. Projects he was involved with include the Hard Rock Hotel, The Grand Del Mar Hotel, Biogen-Idec Nobel, CRES for the San Diego Zoo, and 8 high-rise condominium towers in San Diego and Las Vegas, and a Marriott Timeshare resort in Park City, UT.

For 7 years, Mr. Winer was a Principal of a CM firm specializing in public works projects. As an owner representative, he worked on numerous school projects and public and quasi-public facilities. Noteworthy clients and project include: Spokane Transit Authority - $22,000,000 downtown facility; YMCA - $6,000,000 Aquatics Center, Cox Cable - $4,000,000 office expansion.

Additionally, Mr. Winer was COO of a San Diego development company for 6 years. This firm developed and built 26 projects in San Diego and the Inland Empire.

Mr. Winer and his wife Kathleen live in Poway.
