David Marino specializes in high-value, time-critical and complex transactions for technology, life science and business services companies. He is an expert in the strategic planning, financial analysis, business terms structuring and negotiations aspects of commercial real estate. David has an in-depth command of the entire facility acquisition/disposition process and is a licensed California Real Estate Broker.

David has been exclusively representing tenants since 1991, completing over 10,000,000 square feet, comprised of over 1,000 transactions. Along with aggressively representing his clients' interests, David has been an early stage angel investor in over twenty companies and is an LP in venture capital funds including Mission Ventures, Windward Ventures, Hamilton Bioventures and Avalon Ventures.

David was named one of 2003's “40 Under 40” by San Diego Metropolitan Magazine for business success and community contributions. Also in 2003, David and his wife, Patsy, were the Chairpersons of the 27th Annual Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego's Monte Carlo Nights which raised $470,000 for MCASD's educational programs. In 2004, David and Patsy hosted the annual Voices for Children Starry Starry Nights fundraiser at their home raising a net $140,000 for children in the foster care system, and were the chairs of the 2006 event raising over $200,000. David is past President and Chairman of the San Diego Venture Group, is on the Board of Directors of The Gillispie School in La Jolla and BIOCOM, and serves on the Board of Directors for The Mundoval Fund, a publicly traded mutual fund. David has also been a guest lecturer at both the USD and USC graduate schools of real estate.
