John Jarvis is principal and Senior Vice President of Irving Hughes.
A San Diego native, he has been representing San Diego's leading companies in complex commercial real estate assignments since 1987. John has earned the trust of a loyal clientele by consistently providing intelligent, thoughtful and creative client-oriented solutions. He has a strong working knowledge of the local San Diego real estate marketplace and a dedicated focus to tenant representation.
John's project experience stretches across all aspects of corporate real estate activities including strategic planning and needs assessment, negotiations and transaction structuring, lease renewal and renegotiation, facility purchase and build-to-suit and project team leadership for San Diego and national, multi-market clients.
Prior to joining Irving Hughes, John was a Principal of the San Diego office of The Staubach Company.
John earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in business economics at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is a past board member of the Make A Wish Foundation of San Diego, Inc., a current board member of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), a member of the Corporate Finance Council (CFC), a member of the American Electronics Association (AeA), and a member of Biocom.
John resides in La Jolla with his wife and three children.
