Shaun Burnett is Senior Vice President of Irving Hughes. He has more than 25 years of real estate experience ranging from acquisition, development, build-to-suit, leasing and sales of commercial real estate projects.

Since 1989, Shaun has specialized in tenant representation, specifically in high value and complex transactions. He has developed a strong reputation for his total involvement on behalf of his clients' best interests in every stage of transactions.

Shaun follows a long-term-client, relationship-based model. His long list of life science and technology clients is highlighted by Plexus, Inc., Applied Molecular Evolution, Diversa, Medtronic, Inc., Gen-Probe Incorporated, Chugai Pharmaceutical, Inc., Alliance Pharmaceutical, Inc., Elitra Pharmaceuticals, and Medigene, Inc.

Shaun developed his knowledge and negotiation skills in commercial real estate as a member of commercial development team, McKellar Development in La Jolla.

Shaun has a Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Dominguez Hills, earned a Certificate in Facilities Management from the University of California, San Diego and is a member of the San Diego Venture Group and San Diego BioCom. He also holds a California Real Estate Brokers license.
