As a senior associate with the project management department at Irving Hughes, Mr. Wright is responsible as a Project Manager on his specific projects. His experience includes construction management, engineering and real estate development. Mr. Wright graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and has been involved as a project manager on a variety of projects for public and private clients. Mr. Wright is also a licensed Civil Engineer in the State of Texas and will be licensed soon as a Professional Engineer in the state of California.
Prior to joining Irving Hughes, Mr. Wright was a project management consultant working with a real estate development company. He managed the construction of an $8 million, 47-unit condominium project consisting of approximately 80,000 square feet of residential space and several amenity areas. As a project management consultant, he also managed a renovation project on a 90,000-square-foot parking garage in downtown Austin. Before beginning his work in real estate development, Mr. Wright worked with HNTB Corporation. At HNTB Corporation, he managed design and construction projects for public clients such as the Texas Department of Transportation and the City of Austin. Mr. Wright also spent three years as a project manager with Capital Excavation Company, a general contractor, where he managed $1 million to $15 million highway, bridge and subdivision construction projects. Mr. Wright has experience with many areas of construction including project management, project engineering, project scheduling, cost estimating, financial analysis and project administration. He is also trained in Work-Zone Safety, LEED for Commercial Interiors, LEED for New Construction, and Project Scheduling.
Mr. Wright and his wife, Adriana, live in San Diego.
