Travis Carter is a native San Diegan who has devoted his career to the local San Diego real estate community. As a licensed Real Estate Broker, his focus includes tenant representation, business development, transaction management, and financial analysis. His experience encompasses lease negotiations, site selection, and project feasibility. In addition to making the initial contact and cultivating relationships with some of the most prominent business leaders in San Diego, Travis contributes persistence, creativity, and high energy to the Irving Hughes team. Travis and his partners represent nearly 70% of the tenants in Downtown San Diego with their office relocations, lease renewals, expansions, contractions, and building purchases.
Prior to joining Irving Hughes, Travis worked for a small tenant representation firm specializing in office building leasing. He focused a majority of his time in all major suburban markets where he assisted his tenant clients in all phases of negotiations and real estate brokerage.
Travis earned his degree in business administration with a real estate concentration from Point Loma Nazarene University. He has completed several postgraduate courses in commercial real estate and is currently taking courses to earn his CCIM designation.
In partnership with Junior Achievement, Travis has volunteered over 100 hours teaching Business Economics to a local elementary school. On the weekends, Travis volunteers his time giving guitar, and voice lessons to local high school students throughout the County. He enjoys surfing, running in various marathons, and swimming and currently resides in Point Loma.
