Zach Millrood is key member of the Irving Hughes team and combines business education and brokerage skills to his clients' distinct advantage. Per Irving Hughes' mission, Zach is dedicated to limiting his clients' exposure to increasing facilities costs and other risks through appropriate transaction and lease structures and defined processes. Zach's commercial real estate expertise resides in his ability to evaluate leasehold interests, locate site acquisition opportunities, create restructure and relocation alternatives and develop strategic plans and negotiating tactics. As an advisor, Zach's local experience and close connection with the San Diego market give him firsthand knowledge of landlords, market trends and the best methods of creating competition for his clients' tenancies.
Zach began his Tenant Representation career 9 years ago in San Diego with Equis Corporation, a Chicago-based tenant representation firm that focuses on creating strategic real estate plans for nationally based organizations. While at Equis Corporation, Zach represented San Diego regional firms with local real estate needs and national firms looking to improve their real estate processes and/or the value of their San Diego assets.
Zach's clients represent a wide array of industries and professions including Technology, Non-Profit, Business Services, Medical Offices and Manufacturing and Distribution Facilities. Zach has worked on transactions representing over 1,000,000 total square feet. Zach moved to San Diego nine years ago after graduating cum laude from Colorado State University. While in college Zach was a member of the Colorado State University Alpine Ski Team, as well as a ski instructor and coach at Beaver Creek Resort. Zach currently resides in North Pacific Beach and enjoys skiing, surfing, golfing and traveling.
