Zach has been practicing commercial real estate in San Diego for seven years. Prior to joining Irving Hughes he was an Associate Vice President at Equis Corporation, a Chicago based Tenant Representation firm. Zach has become a key member of the Irving Hughes team who combines business education and brokerage skills to his clients' distinct advantage. Per Irving Hughes' mission, Zach focuses exclusively on tenant representation, including serving as the San Diego account manager of the Cox Communications account for three years.

Zach has worked on transactions representing a total combined value of over $100 million. His clients include both San Diego regional firms with local real estate needs and national firms looking to improve their real estate processes and/or the value of their San Diego assets.

As an advisor, Zach has evaluated leasehold interests; site acquisition, restructure and/or relocation alternatives, strategic planning options and negotiating tactics. Zach quickly identifies real estate related challenges and proposes specific strategies for each portfolio, client, and situation that help achieve enhanced results.

Zach's local experience and close connection with the San Diego market give him firsthand knowledge of landlords, market trends and the best methods of creating competition for his clients' tenancy. Zach is fully dedicated to limiting his clients' exposure to increasing facilities cost and other risks through appropriate transaction and lease structures, and defined processes.

Zach moved to San Diego seven years ago after graduating cum laude from Colorado State University. While in college Zach was a member of the Colorado State University Alpine Ski Team as well as a ski instructor and coach at Beaver Creek Resort. Zach currently resides in Mission Beach and enjoys skiing, golfing, surfing and wakeboarding.
